I’ve been to all sorts of afternoon teas and they are one of my favorite things to do. From afternoon teas in England, Scotland, on cruise ships, in the USA and others that I’ve hosted at my home, they are easily my favorite type of party—and sometimes you just want an easy tea party.
Today was a windy cold day and I wanted to do an easy paper plate tea party with some of my favorite things: sourdough bread (recipe will be posted soon), Girl Scout Cookies, and herbal tea.
Using paper plates made it simple and easy for set up and clean up.
I keep herbal tea on hand (I don’t drink black/green/white teas due to religious reasons) and I have a cupboard full of tea cups and pots that I have collected from around the world because my family loves afternoon teas.
So this only took 15 minutes to put together. Here is how it turned out…
