Intro to a Feature-Length Documentary Film Staring People Who Share My Beliefs

I am excited to team up with over 65+ bloggers who share the same beliefs as I do and invite you to see a film entitled “Meet The Mormons”. Everyone in the photo above all belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, otherwise known as “The Mormon Church”.

Meet the Mormons is a documentary which highlights 6 members of our church and shows how the teachings of Christ have impacted their lives. The movie is not intended to convince anyone that we are right and they are wrong. It is simply to get a glimpse into the lives of LDS/Mormon people on a more personal level and provide entertainment and understanding.

It will be in movie theaters across the world (starting today, October 10th).  U.S. theaters such as Regal, AMC, and Cinemark will be showing this feature film in select locations. We hope you take the opportunity to enjoy this film.  Also, all proceeds from the film will be donated to The American Red Cross. We invite you to see it this weekend or sometime soon!

Official Trailer:

We also would like to take a moment and share our personal testimonies/convictions (all on our own personal websites/blogs).  We hope as you click through and read our stories and testimonies of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, you will feel uplifted and encouraged.

We love connecting with our readers, that is why many of us do what we do! So feel free to ask questions, read comments, etc. We just ask that you please be kind and considerate. It takes great bravery for us to share such a personal part of who we are.

Hi, I’m Anita author and owner of Live Like You Are Rich.com.

I am a Christian/member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, also known to many as a Mormon.

I was born to parents who were also Mormon (my dad was born into the church and my mother converted). I feel forever indebted to both of my parents for raising me in the light that faith in Jesus Christ brings.

While living the standards of our religion (striving to be Christlike and keeping commandments) is sometimes very difficult, the rewards are infinite.

I have been blessed with the peace, the comfort, and the joy that comes with knowing why I am here on earth, where I was before this earth life and where I will be going when I depart. I am especially comforted to know that families are forever and that I will see and live with my loved ones again after this life.

I have also been blessed with the comfort of knowing that my Savior Jesus Christ is there for me at all times and that through Him I can repent of my mistakes, become clean, and start fresh again… and again and again.

I love being able to pray to my Father in Heaven and know and understand that He hears my prayers and loves me. Through the the Holy Ghost God leads me and guides me throughout life. Having a personal relationship and communication with our Heavenly Father makes realizing our potential and finding our unique direction in life much easier. He has guided me on countless occasions and I am so grateful to know that I can rely on Him.

I treasure the words of latter-day and ancient prophets that provide direction and guidance in a world full of confusion. Reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other holy scripture uplifts me on a daily basis and answers important questions I have.

This is just a sliver of the conviction, knowledge, and testimony that I have of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The joy that living the gospel of Jesus Christ brings is truly undeniable.

You will see this joy in the people featured in the Meet the Mormons documentary. It will be in movie theaters across the world (starting today October 10th). I invite you to see it this weekend or sometime soon!

Feel free to email me or comment below if you have questions. If you would like a free Book of Mormon please email me with your name and address and I will send it out to you.

We would also love for any readers who have a profile with the LDS church to link up your profile here so that others can read your story as well!
