Recently, I made a Twelve Days of Christmas tablescape and decorated the backs of the dining chairs with Christmas pine sprigs.
I was going to make chair wreaths but was running out of time before the guests came.
So, I just came up with these cherry charm Christmas pine sprigs because I thought they’d be cute and quick to make.
I loved how they turned out.
Each one only took a minute or two to assemble and attach to the chairs.

They were inexpensive—costing less than a dollar each.
Each cherry charm I put on the sprig of pine costs .20 cents.
The red velvet ribbon was about .30 cents total.
The pine came off a garland I already had for something else. It could be cut from fresh outdoor pine for free as well.
So, each cost me about .50 cents and only took a few minutes to make.
I hung them on the chairs using invisible tape (see video). When the party was over, I very slowly and carefully peeled the tape off the chairs without damaging the finish. However, I would recommend a test spot if you are at all worried about tape damaging your dining chairs.
They gave the tablescape a pop of color on the back of the chairs and tied into the faux pine garland and red pops of color in the center of the table.
