The last few Christmases my kids and I have tied quilts for our home or donated them to Wrap Ukraine in Quilts charity.
This is the blanket we tied last year.
Today, our Elf on the Shelf siblings laid out the blanket we are planning on tying for Christmas 2025.
We tie a blanket while we watch a Christmas movie and it is so quick that gets finished by the end.
This year we will tie a polar bear blanket and on the back there are snowflakes.
I love that this scene ‘tied in’ with the words, “Stay Cozy”: the fireplace, stockings, Christmas Tree, blanket, and Pepper and Winter’s arctic clothing.
My son’s polar bear from his arctic bedroom came up to match the blanket.
Winter brought us scissors.
She had neatly trimmed the edges off for us so we could start tying it.
I loved Pepper’s hooded fur coat.
I also loved Winter’s arctic outfit.
Her hand-sewn boots are so cute!
Her outfit is new one I’ve never seen the elves wear before. I think it came from a doll.
Pepper is wearing the same coat as Winter wore in this dog mushing scene and reindeer homecoming scene as well.
They both looked pretty cute.
Thanks Winter and Pepper for reminding us of a fun tradition that we need to get started on this Christmas season.
Merry Christmas!
