Today our elves made the game Candy Land come to life.
They put gummies at the gummy pass.
Ice cream at the Ice Cream Slopes and Winter is wearing her little ice cream tutu with pink scarf.
Pepper Mint, our elf was found at Peppermint Pass surrounded by peppermints.
And holding a basket of peppermint candies.
Cupcake commons had real cupcakes— although not super well decorated they were cake with frosting on them.
Mini gingerbread houses and gingerbread men were found at the Gingerbread house stop along the way.
Chocolate mountain consisted of mountains of chocolate fudge.
Lollypop woods were filled with lollypops.
Licorice Lagoon was a pool of licorice.
And the ice palace was covered in ice themed sprinkles.
A Candy Castle came to being with candy stuffed in a glass tree.
And ribbon candy lined the board.
I think its every kids dream to see Candy Land become 3D!
The kids ate a few items of candy but we were having a family party that day at our house so they mostly left it alone and just looked (so that their cousins would be able to see it). I was a little worried they go nuts but surprisingly, it was mostly left untouched.
They just loved looking at it I guess… or maybe it was the fact that it sat on the piano and was a bit out of reach and out of sight; I’m sure that contributed to their not eating a lot of the candy as well.
Thanks for the trip to Candy Land elves.
