On December 1st, our elves came back with a, “Reindeer Homecoming”.
They were brought in by a wooden sled that they used in their dog mushing scene from 2024.
Only this time, instead of being pulled by six huskies,
they were pulled in by…
Dasher and Dancer and
Prancer and Vixen…
Comet and Cupid
and Donner
and Blitzen
No Rudolph though…
There unfortunately were only eight reindeer. Must have had clear skies.
That said, clear weather is usually the most-chilly. I know this from my snowboarding days. Clear nights made for the coldest riding. Cloud cover almost always brought warmer conditions.
Winter Mint was dressed for the cold. She was outfitted in some Eskimo-style outerwear. She had a fur lined hooded coat and pants.
She brought snowshoes as well.
Pepper Mint, her brother, was wearing a similar outfit…
Only he brought with him a pack full of toys.
They left a sign “We’re Back!”.
The kids loved that because they could touch it, move it around and analyze the handwriting.
It was a fun December 1st and I got the mantel and tree up just in the “Nick” of time. Oh, am I a nerd or what!?! hahaha…
