Mother’s Day is a special time when my children usually make us breakfast in bed.
It’s funny to see what they create for us…from over-salted eggs to freshly-squeezed orange juice, they are the sweetest children we could have asked for.
We always attend church with them; I love to hear the musical numbers that they usually sing for us during Sacrament Meeting.
This is a Mother’s Day Floral Tablescape that I put together for the Mother’s in my circle of friends.
I used 2 pink table runners from IKEA. I also used these on this Pink and Blue Easter Tablescape I recently designed.
We loved this wreath that we saw in RC Wiley Furniture store the other day.
I knew that it would make a gorgeous centerpiece for this Mother’s Day Floral Tablescape before I hang it on my front door.
I found out that IKEA has a new flavor of heart cookies (lemon), so I bought those and the raspberry-flavored heart cookies and set them on a tray from My Mind’s Eye (see the supply list below for details).
IKEA raspberry cream cheese chocolates were added to pink dainty dessert dishes for the mothers to enjoy and take home as a treat if they wanted to.
Boursin cheese and crackers were placed on paper plates matching the pink striped napkins and table runner.
French St. Michel cookies were added to this tablescape as well.
I love layering different designs from My Mind’s Eye paper products. Mixing and matching is a fun design challenge for me.
I took their discounted Easter plaid plates and paired them with the large floral plates.
I placed the floral cup napkins under pink crystal goblets and dessert dishes.
The crackers and cheese as well as the St. Michel cookies were displayed on floral pink striped plates that matched the floral pink striped napkins.
