Neighbor Christmas Gift: Red Pepper Jelly.
Red Pepper jelly is a holiday favorite for many people.
If you have not had it, you need to!
Most people pour it over cream cheese and then eat the cream cheese and red pepper jelly together with crackers.
Some like it on rolls, bread, and toast.
It tastes amazing.
Red Pepper Jelly is a holiday seasonal item; it can typically be found starting in the fall in Sam’s Club and Costco.
So, you don’t have to make it. You can buy it, divide it, beautify the gift, and deliver it as a festive, delicious, and inexpensive neighbor Christmas gift.
You could also make Red Pepper Jelly yourself and that would be delicious as well. In my family, we only use a little of it so would never use a full 20 oz jar. We may go through 4 oz throughout the holidays.
I have never made this before so I don’t know how time-intensive it would be. I also do not know how much it would cost to make it from scratch. This brand I purchased had great reviews and so I went with it. Plus, I can save these darling jars for future neighbor Christmas gifts.
These only take a minute or two to assemble, they turn out looking gorgeous and classy plus, they cost less than $2.00 each.

Directions on how to make this Neighbor Christmas Gift: Red Pepper Jelly
Continue reading and/or watch the video on this page on the assembly of this gift.
Make sure your food scale is set to ounce measurement, set the 4 oz mason jar on it, and zero it out.
Spoon in 4 oz of red pepper jelly.
Sprinkle 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes on top.
Using a paper towel carefully wipe the rim and just inside the mouth of the jar so that it is clean and presentable with the clear Saran wrap.
Place the saran wrap on top of the jar, pull it taut so that there are no ripples and it is very clear, and then tear off the excess Saran wrap. Watch the video to see how this is done—if needed.
Tie on the ribbon and trim the edges nicely.
That’s it. It comes together so easily and quickly.
