Neighbor Christmas Gift: Toblerone Bar
Toblerone bars make great Christmas neighbor gifts.
They are delicious, pretty, and unique.
A lot of people enjoy Toblerone bars but they aren’t available at a lot of gas stations, checkout lines, etc. So they are a lesser known chocolate bar.
They are also typically expensive—as far as candy bars go, making them even less commonly consumed.
Toblerone bars are also perfect for sharing. They have sections that snap off which make them a great bar to gift to neighbors and friends who may have children who want a bite.
They come in a variety of flavors and sizes.
You could even gift a few of the mini bars for a classy gift as well.
What makes them nice for gifting is that they have beautiful packing already and so do not need much embellishment. I just tied a simple bow out of some pretty ribbon to make these nice.
I have given these out as neighbor gifts before, a few years ago and they were well liked.

Depending on when and where you purchase them will determine the price of this gift. If you just pick them up at any grocery store, they can be fairly expensive.
For the past many years, Costco has discounted their Toblerone bars by about $2.50-$3.50 a pack of 6 bars per pack a few times each year. Usually, they discount them in October/November. This makes them about $1.00-$1.25 each (in store online they are more).
In the past few months Amazon has discounted their Toblerone bars to $1.16 for the original and $1.32 for the white chocolate as well. The Amazon sales are not as reliable as Costco prices though. They are random and you usually have to do a combo of sale + coupon + subscribe and save to get close to Costco’s discounted prices. Toblerone bars are marked down once or twice a year to at Costco.
Smith’s/Kroger often discounts Toblerone down to $1.99 a bar, but that is about as cheap as I’ve seen them offered there.
Walmart’s everyday price is $2.64 a bar
I haven’t seen Toblerone at Sam’s Club
So, using Costco’s prices at $10.00 a box with a $2.50 coupon the total for one bar in a box of 6 is $1.25 for each bar
The total for this gift = $1.35 for each gift
