Peace on Earth Christmas Tree

2024 Christmas Tree theme was Peace on Earth. Each year I try to decorate with a different theme. I do my best to reuse decorations I already have and I buy a few new items to tie into the theme. Christmas 2024 the theme I chose to decorate with was Peace on Earth.

Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace because it is through Him we find true and everlasting peace.

To start with this theme I used our blue and white Christmas tree as the base (my trees are stored decorated) and then I added ornaments that created the theme.

I found a few wooden blocks with the word, “Peace” and purchased those from Hobby Lobby. I stuck those in the Christmas tree on both sides.

I added a few ornaments of angels, the nativity, and ornaments with the Son of God as reminders of the theme.

I found the darling world globe ornaments at World Market.

Since the world ornaments were more than I’d normally spend on an ornament, I put those in the front and sides of the tree so they were visible.

On the back of the tree, as shown in the photo below, I kept things more simple.

The turtle dove symbolizes peace and love. Although I bought them years ago for about $1.00 each, I’ve managed to sometimes use the white turtle dove ornaments in my Christmas decor. I put them on this tree to further symbolize peace.

I absolutely loved the way this tree turned out and the beauty and peace it brought into our home. We did not put the presents under this tree. We have another tree we put them under. This kept the look pure and focused on our Savior and peace He brings us.
