I love to make sourdough bread, french bread, and sandwich bread as well as homemade jams, jellies, and flavored honey butter for my family, friends, and neighbors.
I usually gift loaves of bread, jam, honey, or butter weekly to a friend, family member, or neighbor with each batch of bread that I make.
I gift bread and ‘bit of honey’ because giving brings me joy.
I have had so many blessings come into my life through neighbors and friends who have given to me that I feel like I could never pay back or thank others enough.
Making gifting a weekly habit helps me know I am doing what I can to bless others in return for their kindness to my family and I.
I found these darling honey inspired boxes at a craft store and bought four of them so that I could gift them with a loaf of bread, jam, and honey or other fun items like tea towels or chocolates.
When I was taking photos of this mantel, my darling daughter, Amelia, hopped in and wanted to be the star of the show.
She grabbed a little Easter egg and put it in a mini burlap basket and is holding a faux carrot as props.
I made these mini burlap baskets as jelly bean holders/favors
for a Peter Rabbit kids’ tablescape I designed a few years ago.
Isn’t Amelia just darling acting like she is eating a faux carrot?!
Before I gifted the boxes on this mantel, I used them for this fun spring mantel design.
It came together very quickly—about 10 minutes to design it.
