I saw these plates a few years ago and bought them. They came from My Mind’s Eye. I stuck them in a Halloween bin and finally, this year found time to decorate a tablescape with them.
My daughter loves bubblegum and it is a nickname for multiple reasons. So this fit our family perfectly.
I filled candy cups from My Mind’s Eye with Hubba Bubba, Double Bubble, and gumballs.
I scattered pink Jelly Bellys around on the tablecloths to add pink to the scape.
I used tablecloths and napkins as the base of the tablescape. I’ve had them for over 14 years in my “tablecloths” bin so unfortunately I cannot link to these.
I set out clear plastic cups.
In the center of the table, I took a pillow that we found at Costco and I cut one of the plates bubble gum bubble out and taped it to the pillow as a centerpiece.
I loved the way it turned out!
The ghost pillow was not sturdy so you can kind of see the bowl I set it in peeking out in this photo below. By placing the pillow in a white bowl, I was able to stabilize it.
My plan was to turn the ghost to face those coming in when the gathering began then turn it a few times during the get together so that everyone got to see how cute this ghost is.
It was a fun tablescape to create.
Happy Halloween
Boo!
