Catching up on Elf on the Shelf. This scene was from the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
I love C.S. Lewis and was honored to able to tour his home in England and sit where he wrote the Chronicles of Narnia.
It was a privilege to sit where the famous Christian author sat and penned other incredible works such as, Mere Christianity and The Screwtape Letters.
So today our elves got our book, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, and put it out near this scene so that the kids would know what it was.
The Ice Queen aka White Witch had her shiny tall crown (tinfoil it looks like),
a white dress and snowy train, and a crystal scepter.
She was sitting in a sleigh covered in fur pulled by a white horse.
Edmond was in the snow holding a box of Turkish Delight.
The White Witch was laughing at his weakness.
Poor Edmund.
The tiny box of Turkish delights looks like it was made using a Mini Brands hamburger box covered in oriental style paper.
With Hi-Chews cut into tiny pieces rolled in powder sugar.
What a cute little set up.
They even set out the tiny book, Narnia, that was in Pepper’s Balloon Basket scene.
