This year I am doing fall/harvest decorations as a base with Halloween decorations overlaid.
I’m doing this because I am trying to simplify as life is a lot for our family right now.
I used two copper vases and added some fall and pumpkin sprigs to make floral arrangements.
Then I took one of my favorite teddy bears we own and wrapped him up with gauze to match the other mummy we had in our Halloween decor bins.
I added a cute pumpkin garland that spans the mantel from vase to vase.
I found the garland this year at Marshalls.
Then, I added a pumpkin sprig to the teddy to match the other mummy.
I’ve had the Pottery Barn pumpkin candles on both ends of the mantel for years, so I put those on both ends.
I set out the pillows we got from Costco last year on the armchairs.
Using everything I already owned except the pumpkin garland resulted in this mantel decor cost less than $20.00.
This mantel only took me about 15 minutes to decorate (floral arrangements included).
It will be simple to convert to fall/Thanksgiving decor. I’ll just remove the Halloween pillows and the mummies and add in some Thanksgiving themed decorations.
Happy Halloween!
