Neighbor Christmas Gift: Mini Gourmet Flavoring.
These mini gourmet flavorings are beautiful and come in many fun festive flavors.
Most people like to flavor their soda, hot cocoa, water, and/or other drinks so I thought that these mini Monin Gourmet syrups would be great for neighbors to try out new flavors.
This gift is very quick to assemble and can be very inexpensive if you get your flavoring from World Market with a coupon.
See the cost breakdown below.
These neighbor gifts only require a few supplies to make as well.
Some of the flavors include: Peppermint, Cranberry, Gingerbread, Cinnamon bun, Brown Butter Toffee, Caramel, Toasted Marshmallow, Dark Chocolate, and more.
When I was trying to decide which kits to purchase I couldn’t find lists of what the flavors were and what the bottles looked like, so for 2023 this is what is included in each pack:
The Coffee Collection contains:
Caramel, Amaretto, Hazelnut, Irish Cream, and Vanilla
The Autumn Harvest Collection contains: Pumpkin Pie, Cinnamon Bun, Caramel Apple Butter, Cranberry, Brown Butter Toffee
The Holiday Cheer Collection contains: Macadamia Nut, Peppermint, Dark Chocolate, Gingerbread, and Toasted Marshmallow.
I really like the Monin brand of the mini syrup bottles because of the artwork and packaging. I think they are the prettiest ones of all of the mini syrup brands I looked at.

Directions on how to make this Neighbor Christmas Gift: Mini Gourmet Flavoring
Continue reading and/or watch the video on this post on how to assemble these.
1- Tie red and white string and jute twine/string around the neck of the bottle of mini flavoring twice—a double knot.
2- Loosely tie a third knot and slide the spoon handle through it, tighten it and then tie another knot for a total of four knots.
A tip that works well is to tie the knot around the skinniest part of the wooden spoon and then after you have double knotted it, push the wooden spoon down so that the thicker part of the handle slides into the knot. This holds it in place and makes it tight enough for the spoon to stay in the position you desire.
That’s it.
So beautiful, simple, useful, and festive.
