Neighbor Christmas Gift: Tin with Tea
These Christmas neighbor gifts are darling. The tins and contents have a very cute vintage vibe and they make me happy just looking at them.
I was looking for something unique to put herbal peppermint tea and sugar packets in for a neighbor’s gift.
I found the tins on Amazon (I’ve linked to them in the supply list below), and I knew that if the tins would fit multiple tea bags and sugar packets and if they turned out to be of high quality they would be perfect.
I took a chance on ordering them as there were no reviews on Amazon and I am so glad I did.
They turned out to be perfect for this neighbor’s gift.
The tins are of great quality and are easy to open yet they hold tightly closed when shut.
They easily hold 3 tea bags, 3 sugar packets, 3 mints, and a wooden spoon (all linked below).
If you watch the video I have put up on this page you can see as I open and shut them and drop them on their sides and edges.
I did that to show how easily they are to open yet even when dropped they stay closed.
I also love the artwork on the front of these tins!
They are pieces of art and the tins coupled with the tea bags I chose look match as they both have vintage styles.
The old-style candy and a wooden spoon also add to the vintage-style Christmas gift.
Admittedly, mints are not necessary to enjoy a cup of tea so, I wrote that they were optional in the supply list below. I just put them in because I had them on hand.

Peppermint Tea bags .15 tea bag x 3= .45

Optional- Mint candies .04 each x 3 = .12
The total = $2.12 each—if you add the mints. If you do not add the mints the total is $2.00.

Continue reading and/or watch the video on how I assembled these gifts.
1- Alternate placing a Truvia packet and tea bag, Truvia packet and tea bag, until you have put three of each in the tin.
You can also hide the sugar bags under the tea bags which is what I prefer.
Here are some different options:
2- Add the wooden spoon to the side of the inside of the tin.
3- Optional- Put three mints inside next to the spoon.
4- Put the lid on.
That’s it. Each one takes under a minute to assemble.
