This year, I had 12 adults RSVP to our annual Pulsipher Family Christmas Party that I host.
I love the Twelve Days of Christmas gifting tradition. Growing up, I used to secretly deliver 12 gifts to a few widows in my neighborhood each Christmas.
When I saw these plates and the table runner on My Mind’s Eye, I knew I had to do a tablescape with them.
I also got the baking/candy cups and napkins from My Mind’s Eye.
They were bought in the after Christmas Sale in 2024 for about $20 for all of it.
I’m not sure if they are still available…
I just checked and they are available as of December 10, 2025.
I do not see the 12 Days salad plates but you may be able to find them by clicking around on the website or perhaps checking on eBay.
Added to the paper goods, I placed a 6′ length of faux pine garland down the center of the table.
I put two candles and candle holders on both ends of the garland.
I added two turtle doves that I used on my Peace on Earth Christmas Tree last year.
I put 4 nutcrackers and 2 salt and pepper shakers out (World Market).
In the center of the table for the focal point, I placed a metal Christmas tree I had in my Christmas decor bins.
I hung Twelve Days of Christmas ornaments on it with gold ribbon.
My favorite thing about these ornaments besides their high quality, is that they came with a list of the meaning/symbol of each of The Twelve Days of Christmas.
While kind of pricey, I didn’t mind paying for them because I hope to use them on my Christmas tree each year.
For the back of the chairs I made these little charm pine sprigs.
Each one only took me about three minutes to make. I’ll be posting a video on how I made them within the next few days.
I love how they looked on the tablescape; they brought a pop of color to the backs of the chairs.
I gave each guest, “Five golden chocolates”… or five Ferrero Rocher chocolates.
I set out the pink goblets I inherited from my grandma.
The flatware came from Sam’s Club.
A few years ago I purchased two sets.
I only use them when I host parties or we have special dinners with my immediate family.
I got a lot of compliments on this tablescape from my family; it is always nice when people appreciate the work I put into decorating.
…and it was so fun that we had 12 adults at the table.
Each year I usually set our Christmas tables with our china but the past two years I’ve decided to use paper products.
Last year I did this Oh What Fun! Ski Chalet tablescape.
The clean up both years was so simple… but more than that, the designs the plates add are a beautiful and fun addition.
We had about forty come to the party; you can see the kids’ gingerbread tablescapes here and here.
Everyone brought a few dishes of food to share and we had a nice Christmas feast.
After dinner, the adults played a white elephant game while the kids decorated mini gingerbread houses and did other crafts.
Merry Christmas!
