Valentine Envelope Garland.
This garland was extremely easy and fun to make.
It requires just a few supplies.
Supply List for this Valentine Envelope Garland
Glue gun and glue sticks I had these.
Two strands of 3 yards of floral pip berry roping (I purchased mine for .50 cents each during after Christmas sale at Joann’s)
Variety of Valentine, red, pink and heart ribbon ~ .50
Gold shimmer ribbon I used half of a roll from Dollar Tree= .50
Felt envelopes with heart closure I bought 30 for $3.50 = 11 cents for each one. I used 7= .77 cents.
Optional- a few pieces of shipping tape
How to Assemble this Valentine Envelope Garland
1- Hot glue small strands of Valentine’s Day ribbon onto the back of Valentine felt envelopes forming a loop large enough to run a strand of ribbon through.
Make 7 of these. I made 2 white, 3 pink and 2 red.
2- String gold shimmer ribbon through the envelope loops.
3- Secure the garland to the mantel. I used the weight of the decor on either side and clear packaging tape.
4- Unwind the pip berry garland strands.
Hang one above and one below the Valentine letter garland. Secure on either side using the weight of the decor and/or clear packaging tape.
That’s it.
This was a very quick, easy, and inexpensive Valentine Envelope Garland to create for my Valentine’s Day Fireplace Mantel.
