Neighbor Christmas Gift: JOJO’S Chocolate Bars

If you or your friends are clean-eaters, this neighbor Christmas gift would be the perfect one to give.

Neighbor Christmas Gift: JOJO'S Chocolate Bars

JoJo’s chocolate bars have an ingredient list that is short and sweet.

The bars contain only dark chocolate, almonds, pistachios, and dried cranberries being the main ingredients with a touch of hemp protein.

The bites are vegan-friendly and gluten-free which is awesome if you or your neighbors aren’t consuming dairy or gluten!

The chocolate is not overly sweet due to it being 70% bitter dark chocolate.

There are cranberries as well as pistachios and almonds combined with dark chocolate. The cranberries add a nice touch of sweetness that combines perfectly with dark chocolate.

Most of my neighbor Christmas gifts cost about $2.00. As with most healthy items, this is a bit more. It comes in just under $3.00 each (see the cost breakdown below).

Assembly Instructions for this Neighbor Christmas Gift: JOJO’S Chocolate Bars

To see how to assemble these watch the video on this page or read the instructions below.

1- Assemble the paper box.

2- Put a little wax paper rolled up and crinkled into the bottom of the box.

3- Take the plastic off of the clear lid and very carefully open it up without creasing the edges. You want to wait to crease the edges until you have slipped it onto the white box first.

If you try to crease the lid before you slip it onto the white rectangular box you will likely get ugly lines in the plastic portion which you want to remain clear and pretty. If this is confusing please watch the video for visual details.

4- Pull the lid back but not off of the box, and place 3 JOJO’s chocolate bars on the wax paper spaced evenly.

5- Sprinkle about 12-14 pistachios into the box. If you want to keep this gift at $2.95 each, weigh 1/2 ounce of pistachios and put that many into the box.

Note-In the video I accidentally put the bars and pistachios in before putting the lid on and then I had to arrange everything after I put the lid on. However, it is easier to place the chocolate bars and pistachios on the wax paper after the lid has been put on and creased. Just slide it partly off (don’t take it all the way off as it’s hard to get back on) put the items in and close it again.

7- Optional- Place a mini Christmas bow on the box. I liked the lime green and maroon/burgundy colors the best as they matched the pistachios and the cranberries.
