Fajita Seasoning/Marinade Recipe
Everyone I’ve ever made these fajitas for (and this a go to recipe for guests) absolutely love these fajitas! The trick? You don’t use pre-made fajita mix packets. Instead, you use a combination of fresh and healthy ingredients to season the fajitas. You use this Fajita seasoning recipe to cook off the peppers, onion, and chicken or beef in. The result? An extremely delicious fajita that blows the pre-made mixed fajitas away!
Directions for Fajita Seasoning/Marinade Recipe
First, cut chicken, red, green, and orange or yellow pepper, and yellow onion into strips.
Next, add them to a deep dish pan with the seasoning ingredients. Cook on medium heat. Stir often. Cook until the chicken is white throughout and the marinade, has cooked almost completely off. (There will be a little bit of a sauce in the pan but for the most part the marinade cooks off.)

I modified this recipe to include Worcester and balsamic vinegar for beef skirt steak fajitas and it turned out great! I also skipped the cilantro because of the bitter taste it produces. Chop some up with onion and jalapeno leaving fresh as a condiment to building your fajita taco if you like cilantro favor.

I just made these on Tuesday and my family loved them. I liked the hint of smoky taste it had. I let me meat sit in the marinade for about 40 mins before I cooked it

Thanks Rachel! I'm so glad you loved the fajita seasoning flavor! Great idea of letting them sit for a bit before cooking the seasoning/marinade off!
