My mom has been making this delicious and amazing carrot cake for longer than I’ve been alive… That means it has been a family favorite for over 30 years. It comes out deliciously moist, very flavorful, and is easy to make. Thus, it is a fail-proof recipe. Further, it is topped with the smoothest and best cream cheese frosting you can find.

This is absolutely perfect that you posted this today, because my husband came home and told me he was craving carrot cake! Thanks so much for sharing! I’m definitely saving this one.
Chelsea- Oh that’s so awesome! Thanks for stopping by. Glad you reached out.
Thisis so amazing. It’s in the oven now.
I am using a bundt cake pan and it is not done yet. I set the timer for another 20 minutes.
OH good! Thank you for your feedback! How did it end up turning out?
Thanks for letting me know. Yes for round cake pans, sheet and bundt the time will vary. I made it again recently and it was amazingly good and moist but in the a sheet/cake pan it took 32 minutes. How long did it take in the bundt pan?
So I made the cake according to directions and I put it in two round cake pans. It is taking a lot longer than 25 minutes. Thoughts?
I will make it again this weekend and let you know if it is in 2 pans how long it takes.
I made it again, it was fantastic. But you were right, it took longer. Mine took 32 minutes. I changed the recipe to indicate that. I asked my mom and she said she presses her finger lightly in the middle and when it springs up its done. She starts checking at 25 minutes. So her recipe didn’t have that written down. I’ve added it to it.
