This Halloween Spider Wreath tutorial and free spider web Cricut file makes a fun and cute decoration for October.

I love the contract of this Halloween Spider wreath. The black garland against the silver web makes the design pop. The beaded spider is unique and classy. You can also use a different spider if desired.

It was quick and fairly inexpensive. I had some of the supplies so it only cost me $12.00 but if you didn’t have many of the supplies it would cost towards $25.00.

It would be cheaper if you made these with a group of friends. You could get the price to less than $10 each if you did a craft party and pooled the supplies.

It is easier if you have a Cricut. But if you don’t have a Cricut you can still do this. Just print off the design. (free files above), (enlarge sections of it with your printer to fit a 12×12 paper) and cut out design using a craft utility knife.

Black Tinsel Garland 10-15′ long

Thin craft/floral wire 26 gauge or higher

Beads to make the spider. I am linking to Amazon but I would recommend going to a craft store for the following beads and caps as it will be cheaper buying in smaller amounts. You can also use coupons at most craft stores. 1 large round purple, 1 medium round silver, Spacer bead caps

lots of tiny round and long beads silver and purple… see below for what they look like.

Alternative to making a beaded spider, you can just get Halloween spider here

hot/warm glue gun and glue sticks

Instructions for how to make this Halloween Spider Wreath

  1. Wrap the black tinsel around the foam wreath.

Secure both ends with hot glue gun and sticks.

2. Cut out Cricut design on silver sparkle construction paper or trace it and cut out with a hobby craft utility knife.

Files are linked available in supply list or found by clicking on the image below.

3. Secure the spider web paper by gluing it with hot/warm glue gun in many places around the wreath to the tinsel.

4. Create the beaded spider or to make this more simplistic you can just buy a small spider you like and attach it.

Read on for steps on assembling the beaded spider.

First, put bead caps on both sides of the round purple and round silver beads.

Thread a wire in to all and secure on both ends.

Wrap two long pieces of thin wire around the abdomen of the spider making four legs each.

Vary lengths so the legs look more realistic.

Thread beads onto the wires. Two longer silver beads and two purple round alternating colors.

At the end of the wire, bend the end to tie it off/secure the beads.

Now you have a cute beaded spider. Finally, attach it via string or wire from the bottom of the purple bead to the wreath’s web.

And that is it.

Your Halloween Spider Wreath is complete!

Once I had the cut out, it only took about 10-15 minutes to assemble. It was a fun and easy craft to do.

I hope you enjoy making this Halloween Spider Wreath as well!
