I love peonies and roses, so I thought I would make Peony and Rose Artificial Flower Arrangements. I love the way they turned out!

Peony and rose flower arrangements

These were very easy to put together. They have worked for a few events I’ve had and I have received a lot of compliments on them.

The best thing is, because they are artificial I can continue using them for future events.

From a few feet away these peony and rose flower arrangements with eucalyptus look real as you can see in my daughter’s first birthday photo below.

I also used them for this Authentic Victorian Tea Party I held for my sister-in-law’s baby shower.

Up close, you can tell that they are not real, but they are still very pretty!

I was able to find all of the supplies I needed for these arrangements on Amazon and they arrived in just a few days.

How to Make Peony and Rose Flower Arrangements

First, separate the flowers out. I put an even amount of roses and peonies in each color in groups so the final arrangements would look balanced.

Put together all the supplies needed

Next, cut and place floral foam into vases. I originally thought I’d make 5 vases, but ended up only making 4 as I prefer very-full floral arrangements; and as it turns out, these vases took more flowers to fill them than I had planned.

Vase and foam

Begin assembly.

When I do floral arrangements I like to place the largest flowers in first and fill around them. I also make sure that the middle flowers are taller than the flowers that go around the edges.

So, if the flower is in or around the middle it is tallest and then I cut the stems shorter or push them further into the floral foam as the flower gets closer to the edge of the vase.

As you can see there is pretty even distribution of height throughout.

The photo below depicts better how the taller flowers are in the center and the shorter ones are around the edges of the vase.

I fill in any gaps I see with more greenery or eucalyptus.

For a little height and drama, I added taller cuts of eucalyptus and filler that came with the peonies in the bouquets.

That’s it! This is how to make these Peony and Rose Artificial Flower Arrangements.

If you make these, I hope you love them as much as I do!
