This is a fun pink gingerbread house tablescape for kids that I designed for our annual Pulsipher family Christmas party this last weekend.
The table was decorated with a variety of gingerbread houses and gingerbread men—themed items.
There were gingerbread house ornaments and favor boxes on the chairs.
Each setting came with a darling gingerbread house snowglobe themed plate.
A gingerbread house eraser,
Gingerbread house candy cups with sprinkles in them.
and a gingerbread house and gingerbread woman napkins.
I used clear forks and cups for the setting as well.
The center of the table had an aqua cake stand with a large gingerbread house that my daughter, Aurora, and I decorated.
She mainly decorated the sides and I did the roof.
We were using the snowglobe plates as inspiration.
The activity after dinner was decorating mini gingerbread houses and the girls had so much fun!
I put candy cups with gumdrops on the table for the gingerbread house decorating as well.
Next to the cake stand with the large gingerbread house on it, we put two pink mopeds with a gingerbread man and women driving them.
In the back of their mopeds there were mini gingerbread men cookies.
The table also had pink and white pom pom garland running on it.
As well as gingerbread-themed pink and brown ornaments.
Underneath everything on the table, my daughter and I ran brown craft paper on the table and secured it with painters tape and ran a brown gingerbread paper runner down the center of the table.
There were about 8 girls and the younger ones (under 12), said they loved it!
They got to take home their gingerbread box favors with a foam gingerbread craft inside, their eraser, ornament, their mini gingerbread houses they made, and an excavation/dig kit with a little gingerbread man inside.
We had such a great time at the party and people loved the tablescape.
The funnest thing for me was decorating it with my daughters.
