Winter Teddy Tea Party Tablescape

Winter Teddy Tea Party Tablescape

A friend was throwing a teddy bear baby shower and I said I had quite a few teddy bears that they could borrow. I inherited a lot of vintage dolls and bears from my late grandmother. Thank goodness for Costco 45 gallon totes!

I dug out my bin of teddy bears for her, but before I dropped them off at her house, I decided to do a quick Winter Teddy Tea Party Tablescape

I love Tea Parties. Here is a post of many I have thrown.

I think they are vintage and cute and perfect for teddy bears!

First, I dressed the bears in winter clothing.

I had to swap a few outfits so that all the bears that I wanted to use were in winter clothing.

Next, I set the table using supplies I had on hand (supply list below).

Then I put 3 Scottish Tartan placemats down in the center as a tablerunner and protector for the teapots to sit on.

The table is real wood and you always want something under the teapots to protect it.

Then I put a bunch of cute teddy bears in the center of the table as the focal point.

Next, I set out china, goblets, flatware, napkins, tea cups and saucers and tweed placemats.

I set out two teapots on both sides of the centerpiece.

Then, on each setting, I placed a teddy bear.

If I were to have this for a real crew of guests, I would definitely say they could take a bear home. I love to declutter and whatever you set on a setting is known to be a favor.

Since, I was just experimenting with this idea, I kept all the bears and am looking forward to a bear-themed Christmas tree this year.

That’s it.

It only took me about an hour to set up. Feel free to scroll through the gallery to the supply list below. Thanks!
