Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

I put together this tablescape.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

I thought it turned out to be really cute.

It also has a bit of a modern vibe as well.

It was fun to create.

How I put together this Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

To begin, I used the cute plates I had as the inspiration for this tablescape.

The plates have some greenery in the illustrations.

So, I ran pine garland down the table.

The plates also have candy canes on them.

So, I put candy canes of various sizes on the garland.

There are little round candies on the plate so I put some red and green round candies on the garland to keep the theme going.

I also put candy swirl round linen napkins on each setting as placemats.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

I had two types of napkins that matched the plates well.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

so I put them together to make one.

The round candy napkins matched the plates, decor, and color scheme.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

The, Oh What Fun! napkins matched the aqua and browns on the plate and the gingerbread house on the napkins had a round red and white candy piece above the door, that tied into the plates, placemats, and candy canes on the garland.

The plates had trees, so I put mini sisal trees on the garland.

I also had white trees that were cocktail picks and I loved the way those looked peeking out of the garland as well.

There are a few sleighs on the napkins, so I set out a red sleigh in the center as the table centerpiece.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

I left it empty because I felt that empty and simple would look best for this tablescape.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

I hung a little sisal wreath on the front of the sleigh to match the plates and add a little detail.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

The sleigh also works well because the phrase, “Oh What Fun!” which is on the napkins comes from the song which also mentions going riding in a one-horse open-sleigh.

I tied little red velvet bows to go onto the garland.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

I love the pop of red that the little bows added to the tablescape.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

The plates have gold stars, a gold rim, and other gold embellishments

So, I needed gold on the garland but I wanted to add it in an understated way.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

So, I took just the gold mini Christmas lights from the strands that I used on Snoopy’s doghouse on this Snoopy Tablescape

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

and put just the gold bulbs throughout the garland.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

I also added mini bells that were gold to the garland as well.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

and that’s it.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

I love the way this Christmas tablescape came together.

Oh What Fun! Christmas Tablescape

I did not buy these items all together however, using the plates as inspiration, I was able to gather the matching items and use them to create a cohesive tablescape.
