My creative and very talented next door neighbor Kim threw me a baby shower when I was pregnant with my son. She did such a wonderful job I couldn’t stop looking at the decor. I was dazzled by how cute everything was!
Recently, I asked her if I could share it with you since the other baby shower posts I’ve published: Little Peanut Baby Shower, Peter Rabbit Baby Shower, and how to throw a baby shower for under $50.00 have been very popular. She is always so nice to share her creativity with others so she said I could and even sent me the printables to email to you for free!
If you want the printables comment below and I will email them. There are too many and the files are too large to put as downloads on this page.
Oh and this theme could be used as a gender neutral shower by simply saying B is for Baby and leaving off the word ‘Boy’.
First, we were greeted by this darling sign that she created, painted, and customized. The lettering she made by using her Silhouette Cameo machine out of white vinyl.
She crafted this darling banner out of rope, burlap, and yellow fabric. She made the letters and beehive with her Silhouette Cameo and white vinyl. She also put lights around the trees and her yard. Kim says, “ I just cut a bunch of fabric rectangles with different yellow fabrics, maybe like 10″ x 16″, then notched out the bottoms. I cut the burlap rectangles a little narrower, notched it out at the bottom as well, and eyeballed where to trim the top. Then I folded both fabrics (burlap and yellow) over a couple inches at the top and sewed across. Nothing is hemmed or sheered or anything…they’re all just easy, straight cuts. Then I threaded a piece of rope through them and added letters.”
Kim provided a lot of the food. And a few other women in our neighborhood offered to pitch in and bring something yummy to eat as well.
She made this darling hanging center piece/banner by ripping and tying fabric to rope.
She also hung paper lanterns with lights in them. She tied a bit of yellow fabric to them to add interest and contrast.
This darling B sign was made with this letter B and yellow yarn wrapped around it.
She set up a few long tables with white table cloths. Burlap was used as the table runner along with tealights and holders. The centerpieces were mason jars wrapped in fabric, fastened with a safety pin, and had fresh flowers in them. It was all sooo cute!
Kim framed darling handouts she created and placed them in different areas around the party.
A gift table was set up with another framed printable and gifts.
All the guests were asked to fill out these messages to the baby to ‘bee’. It was so fun reading through them and I’m sure my son (when he is old enough) will love reading them as well.
For favors Kim made beehive sugar cookies using this beehive cookie cutter . She iced them perfectly by drawing a border around the sides and then filling in the middle once the border had set.
She wrapped them in little handout bags and tied the favor tag on with twine.
Now for the darling signs, favor tags, and invite (free printables)… I figured out how to make this zip file downloadable. PLEASE CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE PRINTABLES since they are free I just ask that you don’t request for me to personalize them or change them. They were created in photoshop and I believe you can customize them in Photoshop.
The fonts she used for these printables are: Chevara, Baskerville, and CK Cursive.

Isn’t this just the cutest baby shower ever? I loved it!
