Elf on the Shelf: Safari.
Our elves were found in our guest bathroom today.
They were riding giraffes and sun bathing.
They were joined by some other safari animals as well.
There was a rhino,
a baby rhinoceroses, and a hippopotamus.
The giraffes were enjoying a meal.
Pepper Mint and Winter Mint our Elf on the Shelf sibling duo were wearing their sunnies.
Which I mean, when you are in Africa, you’d need to wear—especially if you are used to the North Pole.
Our kids loved this scene and the giraffes they’d never seen—although it was a much harder Elf on the Shelf scene to find for them.
My daughter was extremely concerned the elves weren’t at our house.
Luckily, she found them before she left for school!
I liked that the giraffes and plants matched the theme I’ve decorated our bathroom with.
We have this towel holder that I purchased from World Market; I still love it.
Normally, it has towels hanging on it. I’ve purchased hand towels that hang.
They work well to hang from the animals’ mouths, trunks, necks, etc. however, our elves took them off for the day.
You can see kind of see the elephant artwork in the mirror below and the zebra artwork to the side.
We also have a cheetah on the far wall.
I’ve been really wanting to wall paper one or two of the walls in this bathroom with a fun safari or leaf print. I’ll likely get to it soon.

How I think our elves put together this scene, Elf on the Shelf: Safari
1- They moved our live plants from the kitchen to the bathroom. The other decorations on the sink were moved around a bit to set the scene as well.
2- They set up the giraffes to be eating from the plants.
3- They put on their Santa hats and sunnies (the hats are holding the sunnies on).
4- Then, using illusion cord they hoped on the giraffes and held on tight for a safari ride.
That’s it.
Thanks, Winter and Pepper.
