I’ve had a great time this year (2026) decorating tablescapes for the semiquincentennial (250th) Independence Day of the United States of America.

We’ve had many different settings to eat from this week and its been a great way to celebrate such a monumental occasion.

Today, after our neighborhood parade, we prepared and sat down to a delicious BBQ.

Our neighborhood hosts a well-attended neighborhood parade and breakfast.

The kids love to decorate their bikes, scooters, wagon, etc. and dress up for it.

I flew the balloon I bought for this tablescape on really long ribbon I added to it up high in the sky.

People in the parade and those watching said they loved looking up and seeing the American Flag balloon.

When we got back we made this BBQ and I added the balloon to it.

We sang Happy Birthday to America as we ate mini cakes and played a child-friendly game of truth or dare.

It was a lot of fun to spend time with my family.

Since this is our last tablescape for the 4th of July this year I am calling it the, “Firework Grand Finale Tablescape”.

My kids loved this tablescape and so did I.
