Elf on the Shelf: Snowball Fight.
This is our Elf on the Shelf scene today. The elves, Pepper and Winter were playing in the snow and having a snowball fight.
They looked like they were having a ton of fun!
My kids love playing in the snow and building up large snow forts, sledding on our sledding hill, and having snowball fights so they really liked this scene today.
This looked like it only took about 10 minutes to make and only required just a few supplies.
Supply List for this Elf on the Shelf: Snowball Fight
Pepper and Winter were wearing the beanies they made last year for Christmas Pajama day. The no-sew video tutorial on how to make an Elf on the Shelf pom pom beanie can be found on that link.
Indoor snowballs were given to us by our friends last year and we also bought some more for my son’s Polar Bear Themed party.
Fake snow blankets were found in our Christmas bin. They were used for our Red Truck mantel that we had a few years ago.
Fake snow sprinkles were in our craft bin and were bought from Dollar Tree.
White glitter tinsel pom poms in various sizes were also found in our craft bins.
How Pepper and Winter put this Elf on the Shelf: Snowball Fight Together
Looking at the photos it’s pretty easy to see how they probably set this scene up. I’ll describe how I think they did it. For more details, you can watch the video found in this post.
First, they put down the snow blankets.
Next, they built up two walls using indoor snowballs.
Then they put a pile of small tinsel pom poms near them as their snowball stash.
They donned their winter pom-pom beanies and sprinkled the scene with fake snow.
There was a printed sign that says, “Snowball Fight!!”—just to state the obvious I guess.
That’s it.
It’s a fun seasonal Elf on the Shelf scene with items we had around that house and which took less than 10 minutes to set up and my kids—esp my son really liked it.
