I try to incorporate Christmas activities with my family each year that center on Christ, such as:
1. Christmas Light Scavenger Hunt. Hang Christmas Lights and then go on a Christmas light scavenger hunt to look for the symbolism representing Jesus in the lights and outdoor decor.
2. Act out the Christmas Nativity. My family acts out the nativity each year. I provide the scripts, songs, and costume list for the Nativity play my family puts on here (it’s free).
3. Advent Calendar of Christian Symbols – We put together, display, and go through a Christ-Centered Advent Calendar using the symbols of Christmas.
4. Read Christ-centered children’s books. Books are a big part of the Christmas experience in our family. Sharing the best and most popular Christmas books for kids you can read to your children this holiday season.
5. Do the 12 Days of Christmas for someone in need. Find a 12-piece nativity set (like these) and give a different piece each night. There are other Christ-centered gift ideas for the 12 Days of Christmas in this post here.
6. Deliver Christmas stockings to the homeless.
7. Attend a music event or watch Christmas Concerts.
8. You can make Christian Advent Stocking.
