Elf on the Shelf: Ugly Sweater Day.
Today is ugly sweater day for my kids at school.
So I thought I’d post our elves, Winter, and Pepper’s ugly sweater scene as well.
They went riding in a one-horse open sleigh in their sweaters, PJs, and slippers.
My kids and I imagine that they are riding, ‘over the meadow and through the woods
to grandmother’s house, they go’… for an Ugly Sweater Christmas Party.
Pepper even bought his lantern—just in case ‘the horse doesn’t know the way to carry the sleigh through white and drifty snow.’
Pepper and Winter were wearing some fun ugly sweaters with additional embellishments.
Pepper has on a ‘Happy Howlidays’ sweater with a tinsel neckline/necklace, a tinsel and pom pom wreath, embroidered pug, and a ribbon.
He added some ugly sweater ornaments onto his tinsel necklace/neckline.
He’s got on his Christmas PJ pants, slippers,
ear muffs, and goggles.
Winter has an ugly sweater on that says, ‘Meowy Christmas’ with a tinsel necklace/neckline,
a three kittens in mittens brooch, an ugly sweater ornament, an embroidered kitty cat, and wreath wrist cuffs.
She’s also got on her Christmas PJ pants and slippers.
I love that she brought her hobby horse along with her.
Maybe she wanted to ride the horse but since she couldn’t she brought a toy horse?
I’m just guessing. It is kind of hard to decipher what this scene is about.
It is so random it is hard to make a lot of sense of it… although I am trying.
Perhaps, by now, our elves are a little sleep-deprived after all of the nightly escapades they’ve been up to and just threw something random together.

Horse and Sleigh:
Christmas Tinsel Scrunchies by hildie & jo
Slippers (stolen from two Santa with magnifying glass naughty/nice figurines). These can be made easily. Upon inspection, I found that they are made with a felt bottom and then the green material and faux fur material are sewn or glued together over the top of the felt sole.
Dragon goggle logo printed to a tiny scale (to print this Google Dragon Google logo and print at ~5-10% scale)

Ugly Sweaters Bottle sweaters the exact brand is World Market
Christmas Tinsel Scrunchies by hildie & jo
3 kittens in mittens brooch- I’ve seen them on eBay.
mini wreath ornaments (sisal) for wrist cuffs
Winter’s Pom Pom hat is a faux fur pompom ball from a beanie that has been turned into a hat

1- The snow and trees were already set out from this: ice fishing scene, snowboard tow, and snowshoeing scene.
2- They put on their ugly sweaters, Christmas PJs, slippers, and additional embellishments. Winter brought her hobby horse and Pepper brought the lantern.
3- They just got onto the horse and into the sleigh for this sleigh ride post.
