Paw Patrol Birthday Party Decorations and Food

Paw Patrol Birthday Party Decorations and Food

My daughter just turned 3 and we had a Paw Patrol Birthday Party for her because she loves the show.

Paw Patrol Birthday Party Food

The following is what we used for the Paw Patrol decorations and food.

I’ll be publishing another post highlighting the activities and party bags we gave out.

Paw Patrol Birthday Party Food table

There are so many Paw-Patrol-themed items out there, the trouble was not in finding enough, the trouble was keeping within a  budget of $125.00.

I used to have a $100 budget for birthday parties but over the years I’ve raised that amount due to inflation.

To save money, we used many items that we already had on hand.

I have a few party totes and I often reuse items that were bought for previous parties.

We also collected all the Paw Patrol toys we had around the house and used many of them for decorations.

I was able to find Paw-Patrol-themed Danimal yogurts,

Danimal Yogurt

fruit snacks,

Paw Patrol Birthday Party Fruit Snacks

wrapping paper for the table, Capri Sun apple juices,

Apple Juices

and graham cracker cookies at Target.

These branded items made setting up a Paw-Patrol-Themed-food table much easier and quicker.

We also made some homemade baked goods for the party food.

My daughter (almost 8), helped me make these dog bone sugar cookies.

We used my favorite sugar cookie recipe and a dog bone cookie cutter I had on hand to cut them out.

We frosted them with my favorite frosting and sprinkled them with brown sprinkles. We also frosted many other dogbone cookies with leftover frosting from the Paw Patrol Sky Cotton Candy Cake I made.

I made the Sky Cotton Candy Explosion cake.

My daughter loved it and so did the guests.

I placed a Sky figurine we had on hand as a cake topper sitting on some saran wrap.

When we cut into it, it ‘exploded’ and had cotton candy, marshmallows, sprinkles, and other candy inside.

I wasn’t sure how the cotton candy that I put into the center of the cake would fare… but it did ok. It did absorb a bit of the moisture and so wasn’t as light and fluffy/airy as when I made it, but it still worked well enough that it didn’t dissolve.

We used three pink candles we had on hand for my daughter to blow out.

My daughter was acting silly and would not pose for the camera. She is a jokester…just like her dad.

Supply List for Paw Patrol Birthday Party Decorations and Food

Balloon arch (2)x $12.99= $26.00

Ferris Wheel  $7.00 (used like new)

Paw Patrol magnetic dress-up (we had)

Marshall fire truck (had)

Rubble truck (had)

Sky helicopter (had)

Sky plane (had)

aqua cake stand (had)

We hung the darling sparkle curtains found on Amazon. Curtains in white and in  Claret Red here.

I had the backdrop stand that held the curtains. It came in a lighting kit and is still being sold.

Melissa & Doug PAW Patrol Jumbo Cardboard Blocks (41 Pieces) Used like new $8.95

Cotton Candy Sky Cake (homemade) $5.00.

Cupcakes (homemade) made by using leftover frosting and cake batter from the cake.

Sugar cookies (homemade) Probably cost about $2.00 using items I had on hand.

Target with 5% off for using a red card:

Kellog PAW Patrol Cinnamon Graham Snacks – 11oz. 2x $2.99 each= $5.70

Paw Patrol wrapping paper $4.50 x 2= $8.00

Fundables fruit snacks $2.49×2= $4.75

Food pulled from our pantry and fridge I am not adding to the total cost because it was not purchased for the party.

Other food on the table was pulled from our pantry: jelly beans, pretzels,

a bowl with marshmallows, and then put some saran wrap on the bottom of a sky helicopter and put it in the bowl.

I did something similar with Rubble. I put his excavator on a mound of Peanut Butter Cap’n Crunch balls.

I placed some Dot Pretzels, chocolate-covered pretzels, and goldfish out on the table.

There were oranges and nectarines out as well.

I had the jars (purchased for my daughter’s Encanto party) and bowls.

I bought the Ferris Wheel used-like new for a discounted price on Amazon. Unfortunately, the reviews are correct in stating that it really doesn’t hold much weight.

Using extra cake batter and extra frosting, my daughter and I made some mini cupcakes. We put them on the Ferris wheel.

The Ferris wheel barely held the mini cupcakes (one per seat). So, I wouldn’t recommend this paper Ferris wheel unless you have items that are very light that you want to put inside. I do love it for decoration—just not its functionality.

We had the Melissa and Doug cardboard magnetic dress-up set and placed those characters around the table.

This magnet set came with Paw Patrol index-sized cards

\and we added those as cross-supports on the bottom of the Ferris wheel instead of the blank paper it came with to make it a bit more ‘Paw Patrol’.

Using two packs of balloon arches, I made one arch that went over the dessert table.

We ended up with extra balloons that I put on the floor under the table.

We have an air compressor, so blowing up the balloons was pretty easy.

My husband bought me a photography backdrop and lighting kit a few years ago and the backdrop stands a lot for party backdrops. We used it for this party to anchor the balloons to and hang curtains from.

I hung glitter red and white curtains that I had bought for previous parties on the photography backdrop for more interest and dimension.

My kids and I assembled the Melissa and Doug Paw Patrol cardboard blocks to make the backdrop of the table more interesting.

I purchased Paw Patrol plates and napkins for the kids’ Paw Patrol tablescape.

I used the Capri Sun for the kids’ drinks.

We had the Paw Patrol block truck that we used as the centerpiece.

Check out this post for what we gave out in the party bags.

and what we did for the Paw Patrol activities.

Although there are so many posts out there on how to throw a Paw Patrol Party, I hope this post gives some extra or unique ideas on how to put together Paw Patrol Birthday Party Decorations and Food on a budget.
