I like to emphasize the Reason for the Season with my children by decorating with Christ-centric decor. I also decorate with Santa and other decorations, but having many Christian decorations out helps our family remember the Prince of Peace and Savior of the World during our festivities.

8. Christian Advent Calendar- We put together, display, and go through a Christ-Centered Advent Calendar using the symbols of Christmas.
9. Christmas Lights– We hang Christmas Lights and then go on a Christmas light scavenger hunt to look for the symbolism representing Jesus in the lights and outdoor decor.
